Whether your goal is a Grade 7, 8 or 9, the Physics Academy is designed to help Higher Tier GCSE Physics students build confidence, master difficult topics and develop the exam skills needed to achieve their full potential.

Suitable for Combined Science (Higher) and Separate Physics students studying any major UK exam board.

All sessions are taught by Huw, a Head of Physics in a UK secondary school with over 10 years' teaching experience, an Enhanced DBS check, and four years' experience as an AQA GCSE Physics examiner.

The course combines expert teaching with examiner insight, helping students understand not only the physics itself, but also how to maximise marks in the exam.

During each session, I will teach key content from each topic, breaking them down into clear, manageable steps. By using workbooks provided, students will have the opportunity to practice exam questions, with feedback given in real time to improve the exam techniques that examiners are looking for.

What happens in each lesson?

Each session begins with clear, engaging teaching of the key ideas for that topic, breaking complex concepts into manageable steps.

Students then work through carefully selected exam questions using the accompanying workbook, receiving live feedback and learning the techniques that examiners look for in high-mark answers.

Throughout the course, students will also develop essential exam strategies, calculation skills and problem-solving techniques to help them approach GCSE Physics with confidence.
